Members of the All Progressives Congress, APC nationwide have been called upon to become a part of history by supporting the candidacy of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President of Nigeria.
The call was made recently at a News Conference in Lagos by the Lagos State Coordinator of the Tinubu Support Organisation, TSO Mr Akinduro Ibesanmi.
He described the formal declaration of interest by the APC National Leader as the beginning of the journey towards building a better Nigeria adding that every patriotic Nigerian must therefore embark on the train.
The Lagos politician noted with pride how Asiwaju’s announcement changed the political ambience of the nation, describing it as a well packaged present of hope for the common man. Mr Ibesanmi is of the opinion that the Jagaban Borgu is the candidate to restore Nigeria’s lost glory and set her on the path to greatness.
He recalled Asiwaju Tinubu’s record of making Lagos State the star among all the states of the Federation, with an economy comparable to those of many thriving African countries.
Ibesanmi concluded by advising TSO members nationwide particularly in Lagos State not to take anything for granted, adding that the campaign to win the primary must start immediately among APC members. He added ” we must speak of the good qualities of our great leader, we must convince the undecided voter that truly the Jagaban is the panacea to Nigeria’s many ailments”
