There is a Greek proverb that says, “Time is the best adviser”, and there is the popular adage that says “Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.”
In about nine weeks the APC would be concluding its presidential primaries and a candidate must emerge. It s called the champions league FINALS where a winner must emerge no matter the skills of play deployed by both finalists or all the finalists as the case may be.
You see some weeks ago I saw some die-hard Buharist, as well as Osinbajo’s proteges, hitting hard at Tinubu, I was pained when I saw how the doctored story on Tinubu wetting himself was shared by these so-called progressives who are Osinbajo adherents I felt sorry for them.
I made a few posts warning them to be careful that even if at all Osinbajo stands a chance for the presidency it must be on the back of Tinubu, but instead of dem to fear conscience them instead fire more.
I shared a video where Osinbajo confessed that he was preparing for a court case the next day when he was offered the vice-presidential ticket courtesy of Tinubu.
What this implies to all these ignoramuses is that if Osinbajo was relevant in the scheme of things then he wouldn’t have been preparing for a court case during the era of presidential primaries.
He was nominated à la carte by Asiwaju and yet instead of gratitude these few ignorant fellows decided to join the opposition in mocking the APC national leader, what a shame, but today like the English Proverb says “Time and tide wait for no men.”
Kikikiki, it is around 96,480 minutes to the APC presidential primaries and Prof Osinbajo has cleared their doubt with his silence.
Be calming down and follow who know road they say NO na dem talk pass , look at Senator Ojodu coming on air to spew rubbish that if Tinubu wins, he would do this and all bla bla bla, is that man even a Yoruba man? How much more progressive?
Let me educate these people for free, after all, it’s a God-given talent we should not be selfish with it.
The Yoruba’s from the history of Nigeria’s politics is regarded as the progressives as their political platforms right from the days of Chief Obafemi Awolowo has always been on a progressive ideology.
Part of their progressive ideology is centred on respect to the Yoruba Ideology in this case call it the Yoruba agenda if you like, this agenda works with respect for the Institution and its elders. The leaders of the Yoruba have not always been the most influential or richest, but they earn their leadership through a rigorous process that involves consistency, going against these leaders is like losing your face at home.
No Yoruba man would try that at this critical time of a collective regional agenda, do it at your own peril, before Tinubu declared he consulted with Osinbajo who was his nominee seven years ago for the vice presidency.
Osinbajo and Tinubu share a close affinity amongst themselves, Osinbajo would never expose Tinubu to ridicule in whatever guise, especially one that is avoidable.
So those dancing naked in the market square for the sake of Osinbajo are mere disgracing themselves.
Focus on the bigger picture and forget Asiwaju Tinubu, Osinbajo has no plans to go against Tinubu.
For those that need to be informed TINUBU is too much of an asset to set him up for a betrayal.
Then over to the Olofofo’s that have no political bearing, they are neither here nor there, let me extend my knowledge foresight to you guys for free as well.
Tinubu’s relationship with Buhari is too close to be lured into a trap….common think please if Dangote for instance is your friend and you happen to be the president would you deceive him to enter the presidential race knowing quite well that you have an anointed candidate already?
What becomes of your relationship when you quite power? Tinubu is way too big to be deceived, In this era?
Buhari na JOB MAN wey e go wan set Tinubu up ? Make una still dey use una number six abeg.
Concentrate on your aspirants and let Tinubu sort himself out. The only scenario is that Buhari would allow for a free and fair process while showing support to his preferred aspirant. But say anything like anointing forget about it.
Let me leave you guys with an extract from this interview of a Former works minister, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe and a staunch anti-Tinubu adherent then,
You led a campaign against Tinubu then with lots of cartoons, saying the real name of Tinubu was Sangodele and that he was from Osun State. Do you still hold that belief?
“Times have changed. That was my perception at that time but the man has outsmarted everybody. He’s an extremely clever person and you have to study him, either to criticise him or to love him.
If you are not discerning and you cannot see facts, you will be having the same thoughts that you had of him ten years ago. Honestly, I am so perplexed about the way he has been able to perform this magic.
I didn’t believe it but he has done so. Who in the entire country can install the President, the Vice-President, the Senate President and the Speaker? For eight years? One person! Don’t you think there is something in that person we have to admire?”
