Alex Ekene Nwankwo (AlexReports) a popular Abuja based PR guru at the weekend made the list of those honoured at the Anambra Man of the Year award after successful online polls across the state and beyond.
AlexReports was honoured as the Media Person of the Year which marks his 100 award honour in his media career engagements.
The 2021 edition of the annual Anambra man of the year award 2021 held in Awka State capital.
Our correspondent gathered that the honour was in acknowledgement and appreciation of their positive impacts and contributions to the development of the people of the state and Nigeria at large.
AlexReports has attracted felicitations and goodwill messages from friends and associates since he bagged the prestigious honour.
One of such congratulatory messages came from renowned Real Estate manager, Dr. Suleiman Adejo who said the news did not come to him as a surprise, noting that AlexReports has carved a niche for himself in the media and PR profession.
AlexReports was once ranked among the top 20 most influential pageant media personalities in Nigera.Recently he made the List of 20 Deserving Peace Icons that were Decorated as African Peace Ambassadors after his political engagements in the just concluded Anambra Guber Election as youngest Governorship Candidate as released by INEC.
At the moment, he is the lead media consultant to several local and international organisations among which are Federation of West Africa Freelance Journalists Association, where he holds swear as the Media Director, West Africa ECOWAS Youth Council where he is equally the Country Media Director as well as an Ambassadorial position at OSHAssociation in the UK etc. Late 2021, Alex Nwankwo also announced his appointment as the official Publicist of Nigeria-Guinea Bissau International Trade Relations.
With an excellent background in Advertising, Media and Communication Arts, Alex Nwankwo has toured round Nigeria and West Africa in his visionary journey through several PR and media engagements. He is a major influencer of Africa’s Most visited Online news platform “Nairaland”.
Among others honoured at Anambra Man of the Year Award are the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the 2021 Anambra governorship election, Valentine Ozigbo, Chief Executive Officer of Chicason Group of companies , Chief Alexander Chika Okafor, deputy managing director of Zenith Bank Plc, Dr Mrs Adaora Umeoji-Nwokoye, who emerged the Anambra woman of the year 2021.
Other awardees include Mr Nonso Okpala of VFD Group Plc who was named Rising Star and Inspiring Leader of the year, Chief Alexander Ejesieme (SAN) as the Legal Practitioner of the Year Award.
Also honoured include Chief Amb Emmanuel Udechukwu (Omemma OJOTO ) who is also the Roxbury leisure homes boss, Dr Emeka Okonkwo (e-money), Most Influential person of the year,Anambra Fire Chief, Engr. Martin Agbili as the public servant of the year; Rev Fr Dr Edwin Obiorah, SAN; Chief Mrs Amaka Ezechiedo; Pharm. Sam Ubachukwu; High Chief Christopher Ndubuisi;Engr Stephen Ufoaroh and Prof Uzochukwu Solomon.
