Breast Cancer Survivor, Kémì Ahmed Onibudo has just launched a new website called rebekemi.com.
Sharing her inspiring story, she wrote, ‘my name is Kémì Ahmed Onibudo. Five years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer and in late 2020, I was re-diagnosed. The purpose of creating the website www.rebekemi.com is to share my journey very openly to show there is hope, and my ultimate goal is to contribute towards saving more lives, especially within the African communities as we tend not to talk openly about our health issues’.
She went on to say, ‘at www.rebekemi.com, we plan on working very closely with our chosen donors to obtain what is needed to make life more bearable for people having cancer treatment and their families, living with cancer, especially children and those less able to afford proper basic treatment and aftercare’.
Come join me in this conversation about cancer, and let’s ensure that the “C-Word” is talked about and doesn’t have a place to hide.
