However, his business profile isn’t why he is in the news currently. He is celebrating his birthday today January 24, 2022 and his new wife, Nollywood actress; Mercy Aigbe has unveiled him as the new catch in her life. Just as she has been celebrating her new marriage to the businessman, she has made it known to everyone that she is enjoying peace in the relationship.

While Adekaz’s first wife, Funsho seems to be filtering the media space with negative stories; a very close friend of the family in Minnesota whose identity remain anonymous have come out to blast Funsho (Adekaz’s first wife) to stop playing the victims card portraying herself as been cheated.

As part of playing the victim card; Funsho uploaded an old photo capturing her husband, herself, Mercy Aigbe and Aigbe’s ex husband, Lanre Gentry with Mr. Gentry affirming that they are family friends which is a ‘big lie’. Our source however disclosed that the said photograph was a taken at the marketers 40th birthday in 2013 where most industry players attended with Mercy been a guest like others.

Why Adekaz opted for a second wife
Adekaz and Funsho got married 20 years ago in the US. A licensed Mortgage Broker, Adekaz decided relocating to Nigeria to start up a business in movie productions. According to sources in Minnesota, who were close to the estranged couple, problems started with the idea of relocation.

“He came to Nigeria with his wife, Funsho who later went back to the US, saying she didn’t want to stay in Nigeria. The marriage was on till the wife, Funsho refused coming over and her husband kept pressing for her to be around. It is important to note to state that this matter have dragged on for almost two years now. He told her point blank that he would marry another wife if she didn’t return as agreed.

A good father, till date Adekaz still carries out his duties as a father and would pay school fees and foot other bills over there. Funsho can never say that he neglected her because she was the one adamant on not returning to Naija,” sources note. He would send monthly upkeep for his three kids as at when due.

Yet, Adekaz kept telling her to return permanently here but she disagreed. He told her he would remarry and she wouldn’t tell the world this marriage to Mercy was a surprise.

Why is she playing the victim and vilifying her husband on social media?

Why is she proving that she was betrayed by him?

Would she deny travelling to Naija and not getting in touch with her husband who would call her phone incessantly and not get a response?

Funsho knows that her husband is a peace-loving man and would not want trouble. Why didn’t she return to stay with him here in Nigeria?

Can Funsho come out boldly to mention who she has been visiting whenever she in Nigeria for months without coming to her said husband‘s family house?

Was she not in the known that her hubby is taking up another wife?

On what visit is she coming to Nigeria for in March 2022?

Our sourced also revealed that it is on record that Funsho bluntly told Adekaz that she will not return to Nigeria because she can’t leave in Nigeria anymore and if he chooses to marry another wife in Nigeria, he can go ahead but once he does that it’s over between them.

‘She gave her husband an ultimatum of choosing between coming back to The US or stay back in Nigeria, marry another wife and everyone goes their separate ways. Funsho can’t deny that she is not in the know that her man is taking up another wife as she was fully informed’ our sourced further revealed

If Funsho really wanted her marriage to work she would have returned many years ago. But she was in Minnesota. Their firstborn is in a private University in the US with her father paying the fees. Their other kids are also not abandoned. Adekaz is a Muslim, he has every right to marry more than one wife,” sources said.

Truth be told, Funsho knows Nigerians are very emotional and that is why she is playing the victim card by trying to sell lies to them, feeding bloggers by posting pictures of her and her kids just to whip up emotions.

Our source however affirmed that if Funsho denies all this claims that evidence would made available online, starting with her March Ticket!! A woman who claims she can’t move back to Nigeria yet has been frequenting Nigeria for months now without meeting with her supposed husband.
