Hajia Hafsat is married to Dr Abdul Jelil-Tafawa Balewa, the son of Nigeria’s late prime minister, Alhaji Abubakar Tafawa Balewa.
Her marriage is blessed with four beautiful children; two boys and two girls. The astute business woman is a native of Ogun State. Hajia Hafsat Balewa, on November 25, 2021 received an honorary doctorate degree in Business Statics & Financial Management from African School Of Diplomacy And International Relations and Estam Formation University, a Pan-African University of Advanced Technologies and Management.
Hajia Hafsat Oduwole Balewa who is the CEO of Britney Petroleum Limited. She’s also conferred a Doctorate degree in Business Management in Dubai.
She was appointed as Ogun Guangdong Free Trade Zone. Ogun State by Govenor Dapo Abiodun in August. She has received numerous honorary awards which include Woman of the Year Platinum Limousine Organization, Distinguished CEO of the Year Award by Papyrus Magazine, Hope Alive Personality of the year by Hope Alive Foundation, Accolade Most Outstanding Female Entrepreneur, Award of Excellence Atlanta Business Cycle, Philanthropist of the year 2015 by ADMA Awards Amsterdam among others.
In recognition of her impact and service to the grassroot, Dr. Hafsat was turbaned with the prestigious title of Gimbiya Dan Maliki of Tafawa Balewa Township, Bauchi State. The hardworking woman is a trained Microbiologist and an ICT provider, Hafsat Balewa has been a key player in the oil and gas Industry over the last fifteen years.
