In other to ensure the sustainability of the recently constructed sections of the Lagos Badagry Expressway corridor and avoid compromise of the integrity of the bridges, the Lagos State Government has unveiled plans to address the tremendous abuse noticed at various points along the corridor leading to severe degradation.

Speaking during a sensitization and advocacy campaign aimed at promoting the required attitudinal change as well as encouraging residents and commuters to take ownership of the project, the Permanent Secretary,  Office of Infrastructure Engineer Olufemi Daramola said the Government has ensured we enjoy the basic amenities by providing good roads and bridges, proper drainage channel, pedestrian setbacks and walkways, railings and man-holes covers amongst others all over the state.
