Somtochukwu Lady-Diana Okoye is a 23-year old Nigerian super model who is aspiring to contest for the crown at the 44th Miss Nigeria Pageant in a few weeks.
Somtochukwu is a focused and well-mannered young lady who is currently studying Economics and Finance at the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
In her words, ‘If I win the coveted crown, I will empower women to be more involved in leadership and work hard to be a role model for women and children. I know I have the desired qualities and I’m the best girl for the crown and one who will serve for the good of the society’.
She’s currently one of the selected 37 semi-finalists for the 44th Miss Nigeria. With over 7 years in leadership, Somtochukwu is a highly motivated and result-driven lady. She is an Economist who is extremely passionate about capacity building, humanitarian and developmental activities which leads to sustained Economic growth in Nigeria.
She has great interest in Data, Public Policy, Research because she believes that creating the having the right information and making efficient policies has a multiplier effect in human, social and infrastructural development which could last forever.
