Two very important things you want to pay attention to when promoting your new song or album on music blogs are:
- Press release
- Press pictures
Your press release should include interesting facts about your song, self and video, if any. This way the blogs can get some information with which they can write about together with a mix of their thoughts. Also, since many blogs tend to copy and paste the press release you send to them, you have to make sure it has everything it needs to present you in the right light.
With regards to press photos, make sure they are professionally taken and edited. If you can’t afford a professional photographer, use uthe artwork of your single to accompany your press release.
However, it is imperative you have fresh press photos for every music or album release.
