The burial details of late Mrs Theresa Kwakpovwe the 80-yar old matriarch of the Kwakpovwe dynasty who died in August 2021 after a brief illness has been announced by the family.
Mrs Theresa Kwakpovwe was until her death the mother of Bishop Chris Kwakpovwe; a Christian minister, trained pharmacist and author who is the founder and senior pastor of Manna Prayer Mountain Ministry Worldwide and also the author of Our Daily Manna, a daily devotional.
The program of events for her funeral as announced by the family includes; Service of Songs at Holy Spirit Catholic church, Iwhrekpokpor, Ughelli, Delta State on Thursday 9th December, 2021 at 5pm. The funeral service at Holy Spirit Catholic Church will be held of Friday 10th December while interment follows immediately at her residence in Eruemukowharien Town in Delta State. Guests’ Entertainment follows at Adagwe Grammar School, Eruemukowharien and the family outing service will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church Iwhrekpokpor Ughelli, on Sunday 12th December from 10am.
Late Mrs Theresa Esharerhire Kwakpovwe was born about 80years ago in Eruemukohwarien, Ughelli South LGA to the family of late Pa Okpomo and Mama Azaka of Oteri Ughellli North.
She had her primary school education in Eruemukowharien at an early age after which she proceeded to Igueben Teacher training College to obtain a TC 11 certificate. In quest for more teaching qualification, she attended a sandwich program at the university of Port Harcourt, where she got ACE ( Associate Certificate in Education ) in 1989 while serving as a teacher.
According to God’s will mama got married at the early age of 18 to Late pa S k Kwakpovwe who hails from Ekakpamre in Ughelli South LGA of Delta State.
The marriage which lasted for more than 50 years was blessed with 11 children and Grandchildren and a great grandchild. To the Glory of God she was survived by all of them at death.
It is a well known fact that her life was full of commitment to kingdom service in Catholic Church and wherever she found herself worshiping, especially during travels outside Ughelli even until her demise in August 2021.
