Sequel to the release of two brand new hit singles: “My Darling” and “Angelus”, Victony, one of Afrobeats brightest stars leading its globetrotting quest, wowed fans with a performance abundantly blessed with infectious melodies on Afronation’s stage in portugal.
After being ushered on stage by fellow musician Musa Keys, the superstar was greeted by a very telling ovation which suggested that fans knew they were in for a swell time. The immeasurable decibels of noise born of excitement from the party-rocking audience, was taken a notch higher as Victony’s smash hit ‘Soweto’ burst out from the speakers.
Spectators further expressed delight, as the self acclaimed ‘Ebelebe’ also performed his addictive feature on the song ‘Selema (po po) remix’, a collaboration with Musa Keys. Incapable of hiding his happiness after a successful display, a proud Victony posted a short clip of his performance on instagram with the caption “look at Mrs. Uchenna’s last born.” The comments section of the said post, has since been inundated with positive remarks from his mother ‘Mrs Uchenna’, musicians and fans.
As the sui generis artiste prepares to share a stage with Rema later this month during the ‘Rave and Roses North American Tour”, it is evident Victony has no plans to rest on his oars. If his penchant for excellence and consistency tells any tale, it would be one that says Victony is toeing the line of greatness and wants his flowers as soon as possible.
